Imagery makes exploration on the website easier to understand and help to express a brand’s visual language.
Usage
Avoid unnecessary decoration. Only use images if there’s a real user need.
Guidelines
1. Be Generic
Images should be as generic as possible. Look for images that are generic to represents a legal concept as we want to avoid law being perceived as inaccessible and unapproachable.

2. Be neutral
Use images that are neutral, avoid using images that will provoke anxiety and tension.

3. Provide accurate context
Use photographs to visually communicate instructions related to the physical building prior to their visit. Provide imagery of actual location users will appear in to help develop a contextual understanding of the space and set expectations.

4. Be accessible
To ensure accessibility, imagery should include alternate text (or a caption) to be read by screen readers for users with visual impairments.
